St. Michael

Serving with unsurpassed skill and uncommon courage, law enforcement officers risk their lives each day to keep us safe. Preserving the integrity and power of the law, they protect us from society’s most dangerous elements. In the mold of St. Michael, Patron Saint of Law
Enforcement, they strive to curb the corrupting influence of evil in their pursuit to bring about a more just world.

This Medallion salutes the courage and commitment exhibited by law enforcement officers each day as they carry out their life-saving work.

The obverse depicts St. Michael in a triumphant pose, celebrating his victory over the renegade Lucifer. Bordered by a classic wreath design, the reverse contains a space for engraving. Struck in a brass alloy, this Medallion is brushed with an antique bronze finish. Each Medallion comes packaged with a detailed header card that describes the fortitude and skill demonstrated by all law enforcement officers.

St. Florian

On September 11, 2001, America suffered a series of deliberate and destructive terrorist attacks designed to weaken the foundations of our nation’s freedom.

Responding without hesitation and with little regard for their own personal safety, America’s fire and rescue professionals rushed headlong into burning buildings, striving with every step to save the lives of their fellow citizens. The heroes who so faithfully answer duty’s call are inspired by the courageous and compelling example of Saint Florian of Lorch, the third-century Roman Soldier who suffered persecution and death for protecting Christians from fire’s deadly force.

This Mesallionsalutes the efforts of all those who battle the smoke and flames each day to keep us safe and pays special tribute to those who gave their lives in the service of their fellow Americans on September 11, 2001.

The obverse depicts St. Florian of Lorch and a modern-day firefighter extinguishing a blaze. Featured on the reverse is a rendering of the unforgettable image of three New York City Firefighters raising the American Flag above the ruined landscape of ground zero. Minted in MerlinGold®, a proprietary brass alloy that simulates the look and feel of gold, this Medallion comes sealed in a protective Lucite capsule and packaged with a detailed header card that describes the lasting legacy of St. Florian of Lorch, the Patron Saint of Firefighters.
