This Medallion salutes the courage and commitment exhibited by law enforcement officers each day as they carry out their life-saving work.

The obverse depicts St. Michael in a triumphant pose, celebrating his victory over the renegade Lucifer. Bordered by a classic wreath design, the reverse contains a space for engraving. Struck in a brass alloy, this Medallion is brushed with an antique bronze finish. On September 11, 2001, America suffered a series of deliberate and destructive terrorist attacks designed to weaken the foundations of our nation’s freedom.
